A portable monitor deserves a proper stand
Portrait for documents, landscape for a second workspace. Start with the mount that actually fits your screen.
- Screen fit: Compare the supported dimensions and weight. Check the attachment type too: a VESA mount needs compatible holes and the correct screws; a cradle needs enough grip and clearance.
- Orientation: Confirm that the holder supports portrait as well as landscape. Physically rotating the monitor does not necessarily rotate the image; check your display settings.
- Stability: Look at the base footprint, grip and adjustment locks. Keep the screen supported and avoid pulling on its cables.
- Portability: Compare folded size, setup steps and access to the monitor's ports before packing it for travel.
